Queer and Now CIC is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2023, by a group fabulous queers with one hope of providing safe spaces for fellow community members.

Our history

May 2023

Queer and Now was founded by a group fabulous queers with one hope of providing safe spaces for fellow community members.

December 2025

Dorothy's Community Hub was born, a dedicated queer hub at Sandown Train Station. This created the Isle of Wight's first and only dedicated queer community hub.

June 2026

We were proud to be shortlisted for the National Diversity Awards 2026, in the Community Organisation Awards (LGBT) category.
